Violence In The Healthcare Setting: Designing For Safety

This joint program and educational event aims to gather those involved in the clinical, administrative,  building design, and facilities departments for a panel discussion on  Workplace Violence & Clinical Staff.

We will be focusing the discussion on how to create a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors in a highly emotional environment.  The panel will discuss topics such as:  challenges clinicians face, how healthcare systems respond, complications of making changes in existing environments, lessons learned from past workplace violence events, and what is being done to create secure workplaces and healing environments for clinicians, patients and their visitors.
