Cutting edge healthcare spaces are being designed to promote wellness and comfort. From circadian lighting in patient areas, resort-like lobbies including biophilic flourishes, upscale cafeterias, and even access to well-designed outdoor landscapes. The latest trend is toward experiential design for all hospital constituents; patients, visitors, medical and back of house staff to promote wellness. In this program, we will discuss the elements of modern design/planning and how they drive change in the healthcare environment for the better good of all. Case studies and digital tools will be presented that meet the highest design aesthetic and wellness goals while contributing to the bottom line of health care facilities.
